Chemical Bonding vs Mechanical Sealing
Bonding means Creating a Chemical Bond with Intermingling and Entanglement between Compatible materials to form a strong Bond.
Sealing means Adhering materials together by Chemical Bonding and/or Mechanical Sealing.
Mechanical Seals alone often result in Peel Seals or a Break at Seal condition.
A Mechanical Seal may perfom well at first, but may not survive Product Testing, Stability Testing or Sterilization, and, is normally not as robust as process as a Chemical Bond.
Mechanical Seals usually exhibit Balls of Polymer (Poly-Ball) as the substrates are expelled from the seal due to excess Temperature and/or Pressure.
