Film Dressings
Transparent waterproof and bacteria-proof Film Dressings – permeable to water vapor and oxygen – are often used as post-operative dressings,
but can also be applied for fixing cannulas, tubes or catheters, where there are generally preferred for visibility.
Thanks to their acrylate adhesive layer, highly flexible and waterproof breathable Polyurethane (PU) Film Dressings can be placed on dry wounds like a second skin, protecting the skin from secondary infections. These Dressings can remain on the wound for several days, thanks to the transparent films which allow wound observation.
Special product shapes and ingenious application aids enable safe and simple application.
